Early Years Teaching Assistant

For an April start:

Level: Scale 1B point 3

Hourly: £12.85

Hours: 15.5 hours per week

April Start:

We are looking for a passionate and conscientious Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team.

This post is available for an April start and on a Fixed Term basis due to a high number of children attending the setting.

A sense of humour along with the ability to remain calm, patient and an empathetic manner will be essential in supporting the children.

If you are able to work independently using your initiative, have the ability to adapt to differing needs, be engaging and self-motivated, we would love you to join our team.

The successful candidate will have:

• Approved Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years to be included in staff ratios
• An approachable and resilient attitude
• A passion for supporting children to be the best they can be
• A willingness to try different approaches to enhance learning

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, two satisfactory references and a Disclosure of Criminal Record and Disqualification Declaration.
