  • Mother's Day Invitation

    Mother's Day Invitation.

    Mums, Nans, Aunties and Older Sisters (over 18) are invited to spend time in class with your child / children on Friday 29th March at 2.15 pm.

    Please log in to Parent Pay if you are able to attend.

    There may be a little treat for you at the end!

  • Year 4 Sports Event

    Redborne have just notified us that the sports event scheduled for this afternoon has been changed to tomorrow morning.  Please drop your child off and collect as normal from Kingsmoor tomorrow
  • Art Adventurers

    Tue 26 Mar 2019
    Art Adventurers are running their popular after school workshop after the Easter hols at Kingsmoor lower school. Artists will be making a ‘How to create a dragon’ model over the 4 weeks. They will be making an interchangeable model so they can create their own scenes and making different dragons, Vikings, Viking ship and more. Sessions run on a Monday from 3:30-5:00. (please note Monday 6th May is a bank holiday so session will run on the Wednesday 8th May that week). The workshop is available for children from reception to year 4. Workshops starts on Monday 29th April and costs £30 per child. If you would like a space for your artist please contact the school ASAP.   • Kingsmoor Woodland

    We need your help to spring clean our much loved woodland garden. The woodland area is an essential learning environment for our pupils – encouraging imagination, independence and creativity – through the understanding of the natural environment. We are getting ready to introduce new habitats for insects and birds and create colourful garden boarder to attract butterflies and bees. We hope that you can help on Saturday 23rd March. Please bring suitable footwear & some tools to help.

     

  • Red Nose Day

    The School Council would like to say a big thank you for the generous  donations of food on Red Nose Day. We know that it will be appreciated by the local food bank.

     

  • Library Refurbishment

    Over the last 12 months we have been busy updating and enhancing our wonderful library.

    Thanks to your fantastic support we have been able to purchase hundreds of new books and some fabulous, bright, modern furniture.

    Special thanks to Mrs Thomas who recently painted the beautiful tree you can see on the photographs and Mrs Hampstead and Mrs Clayburn who help out in the library every Thursday.

  • World Book Day

    World Book Day is on March 7th.  All children may come to school dressed as a book character.  There will also be a special lunch - please see the menu below.
