Lunch Menus

Summer Menu 2024

Please may we remind all parents and carers that Kingsmoor is a nut free school.

We have children in school who suffer from nut allergies and therefore, in order to keep them safe there must be no nut products brought into school.

Please check all items put into lunch boxes for nut allergy advice.

Thank you.

Kingsmoor School lunches are provided by our in-house catering team.

Cooking using the best quality ingredients entirely from scratch each day is a real priority for us.  Our staff work very hard to cook child friendly meals and also to encourage your child to eat and enjoy them.  Our menus offer wholesome and warming food, with a selection of seasonal vegetables available.

Your child’s health is important to us because we understand that lunch can play an important role in their overall health and in helping to nurture balanced eating habits.  The menu focuses on using nutrient rich food to ensure that we meet the Government’s food and nutrition based standards for school food (for more information you may wish to visit the Children’s Food Trust website).

A new menu has been introduced notifying parents that certain products which contain Coconut Oil as an ingredient will now be available. As Coconut is not classed as a tree nut, Kingsmoor Lower School's Nut Free Policy is still in place. However, if you think this may affect your child, please contact the school catering team on 01525 712448 or email cchapman@kingsmoorschool.co.uk.

School lunches cost £2.50.

Lunches can be booked and paid for via the Weduc Payments System.

Cheques should be payable to:   Kingsmoor Lower School

All money / cheques should be sent to school in a named envelope or purse to the class teacher each Monday morning.

The Kitchen Manager is Mrs Charlene Chapman

Water is available in class at all times.  Fizzy drinks must not be brought to school.    Please do not send squash to school as it encourages ants and is bad for teeth.
